Anyhow, like every packaging method also strapping requires a suitable choice of the packaging material as well as packaging tool especially for the special application. Only the interaction of all involved components grants an efficient and optimum protection of the goods by achievement of the best possible tensioning effect.
To be transported or to be stored goods are put out in particular to three essential charges:
a) transport-conditioned influences because of vibrations, e.g. by rough lifting / putting down when loading, bad street conditions and the like
b) climatic influence because of temperature variations, humidity, strong solar radiation and the like
c) human influence, e.g. by not proper handling and storage of the goods
